From an early age, DJ INDI developed an ear for music. Her grandmother was influential; she played various types of Soul and R&B music.

DJ INDI realized her passion for music and knew she could become a great female DJ. Her self-taught mission started becoming reality. She studied Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jeff and DJ QuickSilva (93.9). She often states: “I want to move and connect with my crowd. If there is only one person dancing, that’s all I need”.

 

DJ INDI has dj'd house parties, baby showers, funerals, lounges, 5k races, cabarets, church events, cookouts, school events, silent headphone parties (Lucky Strike), online radio shows, retirement parties, The Fillmore, RFK stadium and even performed live outside of Howard University’s Homecoming. In 2019, she had an opportunity to DJ for the one and only "Jessica Dupart" (DaRealBBJudy) founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products for her Dropping Knowledge Tour.

 

DJ INDI emerged on the scene in 2014 and her appreciation for music has transpired into a promising career.
